Microcosm of the Digit
Microcosm of the Digit
About
The exhibition explores the birth and diversity of digital technologies and their impact on culture and the perception of reality. Each project offers a unique perspective on the intersection of digital, physical, and mythical worlds.
Authors / projects
Fluid Information
Explores the theme of death and the transmission of information. A series of augmented reality objects represent data fragments — digital ruins of our world that have absorbed images, emotions, events, and the psychoplasm of modernity.
Silicon plates with densely compressed information, akin to ancient clay tablets, preserve and convey experiences. But what happens if the carrier becomes damaged?

Living Organism
An investigation of time through the lens of natural sciences and post-humanist discourse, examining the possibility of hybrid time and its impact on interactions between nature, humans, and technology in the post-Anthropocene era.
Anastasia Gross
Rules of Digital Tasting
Explores the transformation of the ancient ritual of eating through cherry tree elements and augmented reality, offering a unique experience of tasting and interaction across three dimensions.
Maria Fedorova
Liminal Space
Stepan Tereshchenko
An investigation of time through the lens of natural sciences and post-humanist discourse, examining the possibility of hybrid time and its impact on interactions between nature, humans, and technology in the post-Anthropocene era.
Planet 0062
For the installation, the DE1000 duo scanned the entire mansion, studied details of the walls and floors, selected 1,000 shades, and preserved historical decorative elements reflecting the shift of eras.
Planet Third Place (0062) is part of the DE1000 universe, an author’s project featuring a thousand unique planets created in collaboration with artists and cultural institutions. Symbolizing a “third place” beyond home and work, the planet embodies the aesthetics and architecture of the namesake mansion.

Time to Blossom
Reinterpreting the garden as a symbol of creativity and a journey, the artist designed a dimension governed by temporality, where morning, day, night, and the mystical 13th hour merge into one digital entity.
The world is governed by two forces — love and destruction — alternating in a 12-hour cycle. In a digital garden created by the artist, these processes coexist: some flowers bloom while others wither.

Machine Vision
The auditory component features a four-channel composition with sounds of electromagnetic waves and noise, revealing the agency of algorithms and allowing us to “hear the inaudible”.
The audiovisual project Machine Vision explores the world through the lens of machine perception, using videos processed by computer vision algorithms to create operational image patterns. The digital layer includes large-scale cosmic bodies and interactions between natural forces.

Trail
The project unites music, movement, sculpture, and motion tracking technologies, exploring the nonverbal dialogue between artists of various disciplines and the search for a common language. How does music influence movement? How does movement transform space? Can a sonic language become visible and tangible? The central theme also revolves around the invisible trace left by a person and how this trace can be reflected in art.
